New EXPO dates announced!

We are pleased to announce a revised date for our upcoming Expo.

A virtual Expo will take place during National Science Week, August 15 – 23 2020.

As social distancing restrictions continue to ease across the state, we still need to remain mindful of social distancing. So, The Biggest Science Experiment has decided to make the most of the technology that we have at our fingertips and take our Expo on-line.

A virtual Expo will enable everyone to enjoy and celebrate science from the comfort (and safety) of your own home.

“We couldn’t think of a better time to run the Expo than during Science Week”, explained Anthea Nicholls, Biggest Science Experiment Project Manager.

“The Biggest Science Experiment has been about being a science savvy community and we now want to make that visible.  We want to make science visible.”

“The virtual Expo gives participants the opportunity to share what projects and experiments they have been working on while at home, and to hear from scientists at work, all on the one platform. Everyone can come and view in their own time, over the course of the week.

“There will also be guest speaker presentations answering questions asked by students in our Primary Schools.

“We are very excited to bring this to the community and the surrounding region and look forward to seeing what wonderful experiments and projects people have been doing.”
